Spring-Ford MS: Competing In 101.1 More FM Christmas Semifinals

Vote today! Spring-Ford's Middle School choir has been named a semifinalist in 101.1 More FM's annual Christmas Contest.

ROYERSFORD, PA -- Spring-Ford's Middle School choir has been named a semifinalist in 101.1 More FM's annual Christmas Contest. They'll compete in the K-8 division.

The competition features schools from around the Philadelphia region. Choirs have their song aired on the radio, and listeners then vote for their favorite the rest of that day. The winners advance on to the final round.

There is also a high school division.

The school district said that this is the second year that the middle school has been selected to compete.

Spring-Ford's Gold and Blue Choir's version of "A Festive Noel" was played on the radio early Wednesday.

Vote here now. Voting closes at 9 p.m.

Spring-Ford is competing against Unami Middle School and Chestnut Ridge Middle School.

The grand prize winner of 101.1 More FM's 8th Annual Christmas Choir Competition receives a $5,000 cash prize and an opportunity to perform with The Philly Pops at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Their music is also featured on air throughout the holidays.
