Spring-Ford Names New Assistant Superintendent
Spring-Ford has announced their new Assistant Superintendent: Robert Rizzo, out of Indiana County, replacing Allyn Roche.

ROYERSFORD, PA — The Spring-Ford Area School District has announced their new Assistant Superintendent: Robert Rizzo, out of Indiana County, replacing Allyn Roche.
Rizzo was appointed during the School Board meeting on Monday, June 24. He was most recently the Assistant Superintendent at Indiana Area School District in western Pennsylvania.
"When we hire new employees, whether it is a teacher or an administrator, we focus on people who want to grow with us," Superintendent David Goodin said in a statement.

Roche, meanwhile, is leaving to take on the Superintendent's role at Upper Perkiomen School District.
Rizzo has more than 25 years experience working in schools, ranging from band director and assistant principal to principal and IT coordinator in multiple school districts. He is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in educational leadership through Wilkes University.
