Spring-Ford's Average SAT Scores Among Best In Montgomery County

See how Spring-Ford High School students fared against the rest of the state and the county on average SAT scores. How smart is your school?

The Pennsylvania Department of Education released the average 2016 SAT scores for schools statewide, and Spring-Ford fared very well.

Their average of 1621 landed them just outside of the top ten schools in Montgomery County and just one point behind their rivals Perkiomen Valley (1622).

Their Reading average was 536, the Math average was 560, and the writing average was 526.

A total of 419 students were tested throughout the year.

In Montgomery County, Lower Merion and Harriton led the way, with average scores of 1766 and 1754, respectively.

The top school in the Philadelphia area - and in the entire state - was Julia Masterman High School in the city, with an average of 1978. The top public high school was Conestoga, averaging 1795.
