WATCH: Spring-Ford, Pope John Paul II Honor Veterans Day 2017

ROYERSFORD, PA -- Both Spring-Ford and Pope John Paul II honored Veterans Day on Friday.

In the Spring-Ford 5/6 Grade Center, students recognized family members who served during the annual Veterans Day assembly.

"They were ordinary people who responded in extraordinary ways in extreme times," a speaker said during the assembly.

And Pope John Paul students with Studio 38 Rhapsody performed the National Anthem in the auditorium.

"The Pope John Paul II School Community salutes all our veterans for the impact their service has today, tomorrow and forever," the school said. "Our very own Studio 38 Rhapsody Premieres honor our veterans the best way we can."
