1. Gnats in the produce section: Lancaster County restaurant inspections, Oct. 2, 2026 (lancasteronline.com) — Several Lititz spots, including Collusion Tapworks, Meadow Run Farm Store, Lancaster Mushroom at Lititz Farmers Market, and Rothsville Mini Market, were recently inspected by the state agriculture department. All passed, but some had issues like dirty soda nozzles, egg storage over ready-to-eat foods, labeling problems, and residue in coolers, which were either corrected on-site or flagged for follow-up.
   

2. Lititz Chocolate Walk returning to the community (abc27.com) — Downtown Lititz is gearing up for the 25th annual Lititz Chocolate Walk on Saturday, Oct. 10, with a giant cake at the Wilbur Store marking the milestone. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., ticket holders will visit 32 local shops for chocolate treats, with $55 tickets benefiting children’s charities across Lancaster County and available online or at Wilbur and Purple Robin Reserve.
   

3. Jazz Vocalist Sets Concert (townlively.com) — A nationally recognized young jazz vocalist is headed to Mickey’s Black Box on Rock Lititz Boulevard for a Sunday, Nov. 1 concert, giving locals an easy night out close to home. The Fresh Takes on Jazz series performance offers free admission for students and showcases an award-winning Juilliard-trained singer known for fresh takes on classic standards.
   

4. Solanco rallies from early deficit to post L-L League Section 3 win over Warwick (lancasteronline.com) — Warwick football fans in Lititz watched their Warriors jump to a 10-0 lead at Grosh Field before Solanco stormed back with 28 unanswered second-half points for a 35-10 win. Quarterback Chase Sensenig powered the comeback with four touchdowns, while Warwick, still seeking its first victory, now prepares to travel to Fleetwood next Saturday night.
