• Hanover man allegedly led police on 107-mph chase with child in car (ydr.com) — A high-speed overnight police chase with a child in the car tore through Littlestown Borough, running both of the town’s red lights before crossing into Maryland. Police say the Hanover driver hit 107 mph, evaded spike strips in Littlestown, and was finally stopped in Carroll County, where he now faces felony charges and an upcoming extradition hearing. 
• Gettysburg Area School Board votes to raise taxes (gettysburgconnection.org) — Littlestown taxpayers will help fund a major expansion of the Adams County Technical Institute, as Gettysburg’s school board approved a 3.5% tax hike that includes 1% dedicated to ACTI. Littlestown School District is slated to cover just over 15% of the land purchase costs, with total construction projected at about $70 million and a key purchase vote coming June 15.
