• Upper Macungie looks to future of fire stations, recruitment (wfmz.com) — Upper Macungie Township is reshaping fire protection, moving toward a centralized Station 57 and funding recruitment, which could affect emergency response for nearby Macungie-area residents. Supervisors also accepted a new Glenlivet Drive West extension, temporarily lowered speeds near the Eli Lilly project, and pursued grants to upgrade Blue Barn Park and Grange Park courts as the township rapidly grows.
