HATBORO, PA -- What role did Montgomery County play in the American Revolution? Find out at a special upcoming event in Hatboro.

Michael Jesberger will be presenting an educational program about the common soldiers who fought in the American Revolution and the various incidents that took place in Bucks and Montgomery Counties. He will also share reproduction-period items, uniforms, maps and eyewitness accounts.

The presentation will take place on May 11 on the 2nd floor of the church in Fellowship Hall after the Millbrook Society’s membership meeting which begins at 7:30 pm.

The event is free to attend and all are welcome to both the meeting and presentation. Refreshments will be served.

Jesberger is an independent military historian who specializes in the American Revolutionary War and Civil War time periods. He is renowned for his depth and breadth of knowledge, as well as his engaging and passionate presentation style, whether providing formal lectures, living history presentations or tours of historic sites, the Society said.

He is also a member of several history based organizations and active in the reenactment community and participates in numerous battle reenactments and ceremonies to honor our first and current veterans.
