Bryn Athyn College hosts Book EXPO April 9

Besides book sales, this free, day-long event features presentations from authors and deep thinkers for seekers and people of any faith.

Bryn Athyn College invites the public to learn, explore and be challenged by a vast array of books and speakers on the subject of “Science, Spirituality and Swedenborgian Theory through History” at the 2nd Annual Book Expo Saturday, April 9.

The event is sure to interest and challenge spiritual seekers and people of faith no matter what their individual beliefs.

The Book Expo runs from 8:30am to 5:30pm in Pendleton Hall on Bryn Athyn College’s campus, 2945 College Drive just off Huntingdon Pike in Bryn Athyn, 19009. Visitors may come for part or all of the day. There is no charge for this event, which is sponsored by several organizations including Bryn Athyn College Press, Swedenborg Foundation, Swedenborg Scientific Association (SSA), Cole Foundation for Renewing the Culture, General Church Publications and NewChristianBibleStudy.org.

Books are available for purchase by cash or check at the Expo starting at 8:30am; at the New Church Bookstore in Bryn Athyn Cathedral, 900 Cathedral Road in Bryn Athyn; and online at NewChristianBibleStudy.org and Amazon.com.

Some of today’s most respected Swedenborgian “thought leaders” and writers will deliver presentations throughout the day. For those who miss any of the talks, these will be found on YouTube.com by searching “NCAP Swedenborg.” (Talks from the 2015 Book Expo are currently available.)

Convenient free parking is available on campus. Doors open at 8:30am. The day features five presentations and closes with a wine and cheese reception.
