Drunk Montco Man Severely Injures Other Driver In Crash: Police

The drunken man was behind the wheel of a Ford F-350 truck when he slammed into the smaller vehicle, authorities said.

LOWER MORELAND, PA — A man was drunk when he crashed into another vehicle in Montgomery County and seriously injured the driver.

The incident occurred on Sunday, Nov. 30 at the intersection of Philmont Avenue and Pine Road in Lower Moreland.

Fred Breslow, 64, was driving a Ford F-350 when he slammed into a Chevrolet Malibu, police said.

The Malibu driver was admitted to a nearby Level 1 trauma center, indicating severe and complex injuries.

Breslow was taken into custody, with formal charges announced against him this week.

He faces counts of aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, reckless endagerment, careless driving, and more. A preliminary hearing is forthcoming.
