The full calendar of resident-informed programming features lectures, wellness classes, discussion groups and cultural events to promote residents’ intellectual, physical and social well-being. If needed, Friends Village provides our residents with flexible, affordable support in their own apartments through its NeighborCare program. By using our long-tenured and dedicated staff, it is a home care service without the onerous minimum hours or uncertain staffing of agencies. And if care needs increase further, personal care is available in our historic Paxson Hall. What truly sets Friends Village apart is the warm sense of community. Welcome to Jenkintown’s 34th Annual Sunset 5K Run. Enjoy our 
beautiful neighborhoods, and celebrate afterwards on our town square.
Are you ready to run the Summit? This challenging tree lined 5k 
course winds it’s way through the borough of Jenkintown without crossing
 Old York Rd. One of the largest evening 5K runs around. Come on out 
and join us! Live Music, food and prizes for all age groups.
Run Benefits : The Kiwanis Foundation of Jenkintown.
Kids Dash is for ages 6 and under, and no registration is required. All children will receive a prize.
Open Team Registration: Teams of 4 are encourage to participate, but you can have more on your team and are encouraged to do so.
The run will be held, rain or shine.
Starting Line:
The race 
starts and ends on Leedom St by the Town Square. The Kids Dash starts 
at 6:35PM, Runners start at 7:00PM. We are doing corral starts this 
year.The corrals will be as follow: Under 7 minutes, 7-9minutes, 
9-11minutes, and Over 11 minutes.
Registration Fees:
 Early Registration: $30 (1/1-1/31) Pre- Registration: $35 (2/1- 4/14) Late registration: $40 (4/15-5/24) Team Early Registration: $27 per person (1/2-1/31) must have a minimum of 4 people per team. Team Pre- Registration: $32 per person (2/1-4/14)- must have a minimum of 4 people per team. Team Late registration: $37 per person (4/15-5/24)- must have a minimum of 4 people per team. “Day of Race” Registration, $40 (online from 5/25-6/2 at 12AM) Child- 10 and under, $20 Early Registration (online from 1/1-1/31) Child-10 and under, $25 Registration (2/1-5/24) Child -10 and under “Day of Race” Registration, $25 (online from 5/25-6/2) Kids Dash 6 and under, free (no registration required) No “Day of Race” Team Registration Allowed Teams: top four times count
The Route:

Registration Packets:
All participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt while supplies last!
For those who sign up online by 5/24, you may pick up your race 
packet at Jenkintown Running Co, 416 Old York Rd, during business hours 
between May 30- June 1. For those who sign up online on or after 
5/25: On June 2nd, race day, you may pick up your packet at our 
pre-registration check-in table starting at 5:00pm.
