HVAA Phoenix Played for Charity Tournament

Today, Sunday, HVAA U9 played in the 5th Annual Kick Out Parkinson's Tournament at SMG Sports.  The girls did an outstanding job playing 5 games from 8 AM until 12:30 PM.  They were tired, but determined.  In the first match up, they played their nemesis, Parkwood.  They lost 0-1.  Their second match up was against the Upper Moreland Wildcats and they tied the game, 2-2.  The next dual was against Warrington Red and this game was a win with a score of 2-1.  The girls came in third before the playoffs.  The girls played Warrington in the semifinal game and won 3-0, but fell to Parkwood in the championship.  Overall the girls held their ground when they needed it.  It was a great day and it was a great way to raise money for Parkinson's research.
