Lower Moreland ranked 135 on the list of more than 700 public, private, charter and magnet schools across the country.

Newsweek has included Lower Moreland High School in its latest list of the country’s top high schools.
Lower Moreland ranked 135 on the list of more than 700 public, private, charter and magnet schools across the country.
Newsweek used six indicators for its ranking methodology, its Daily Beast website said, including graduation and college acceptance rates; college-level courses and exams; percentage of students with free or reduced lunch; and SAT and ACT scores.

Other area schools that made the list include North Penn High School, which came in at 410, and Pennridge High School, which was ranked at 484.
The highest ranked school in Pennsylvania was Unionville High School in Kennett Square.
