Lower Moreland Welcomes New Principal

William Miles, a former assistant principal at Central Bucks South, will be taking over the position.

William Miles has been named the new principal at Lower Moreland High School after being suggested unanimously by the final interview panel.

The panel included Board President Dr. Murray Cohen, two students, the LMTEA co-presidents, teachers, administrators, and the High School PTA co-leaders.

Miles will succeed Julien Drennan beginning June 29th.

Miles currently serves at the assistant principal at Central Bucks High School. In addition to an assistant principle role for four years at Hatboro-Horsham, Miles has also spent 20 years in the Archdiocese as an English teacher and principal.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and English from LaSalle University. He went on to receive a Master’s degree in English from Temple University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from St. Joseph’s University. He has a Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Arcadia University.
