UPDATE: Man Killed In Montco Home Invasion

The incident was reported on Philmont Avenue in Lower Moreland around 11:10 p.m., the Montgomery County District Attorney said.

A man has died after being shot during a home invasion Sunday in Lower Moreland, authorities said.

According to information from the Montgomery County District Attorney, the shooting was reported shortly after 11 p.m. at 2388 Philmont Avenue.

When Lower Moreland Township Police officers responded to the residence, they located a male gunshot victim on the front lawn.

The man, who has not been identified, was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities are investigating the incident.

According to reports, the suspect was wearing a mask at the time of the home invasion and is still on the loose.
