One Person Was Killed In A Single-Vehicle Collision In Lower Moreland Township Last Week
The driver was killed in the single-vehicle crash while the passenger was said to have sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

LOWER MORELAND, PA — One person was killed and a second person was hurt following a single-vehicle crash in Lower Moreland Township late last week.
Lower Moreland Police said it responded to a reported single-vehicle crash on Feb. 24 just before 9:30 p.m. in the area of Red Lion Road and Philmont Avenue.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers had discovered that a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a pedestrian bridge.

Police said the driver of the vehicle was killed in the crash while the passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Neither the name of the driver nor the passenger are being released at this time as police are still working to notify next of kin. Ages of the victims were also not immediately released.

Police say that alcohol is believed to have played a role in the crash.
