The full calendar of resident-informed programming features lectures, wellness classes, discussion groups and cultural events to promote residents’ intellectual, physical and social well-being. If needed, Friends Village provides our residents with flexible, affordable support in their own apartments through its NeighborCare program. By using our long-tenured and dedicated staff, it is a home care service without the onerous minimum hours or uncertain staffing of agencies. And if care needs increase further, personal care is available in our historic Paxson Hall. What truly sets Friends Village apart is the warm sense of community. The search continues for a 20-year-old Montgomery County woman who went missing Friday after her car was found abandoned on a local highway.Deirdre Magolon, 20, <a href="http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/Montco-Woman-Missing-After-Abandoned-Car-Found-on-Schuylkill-Expressway-295558681.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">was last seen Friday between 6:40 and 7 p.m. at her home in Royersford</a>, according to Upper Providence Police.Her car, a 2005 black Mazda, broke down that evening on the end of 422 in King of Prussia just before I-76 and 202, a poster circulated by her family said. Her car was found abandoned around 7:30 p.m. Friday night, police said.The Philadelphia Inquirer reported Tuesday that <a href="http://www.philly.com/philly/news/local/20150311_Cops_pursuing_leads_in_search_for_missing_Montco_woman.html" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">local police are "pursuing leads"</a> regarding Magolon's location but no further information was available.Meanwhile, a Facebook page, <a href="https://www.facebook.com/Helpfinddd" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Help us bring DD home,</a> has been created. As of Tuesday, the page had more than 4,480 likes. Magolon is described as a white female, about 120 pounds and 5-foot-4 tall with light brown hair and blue eyes.Anyone with information about her whereabouts should call the Upper Providence Police Department at 610-933-7899.
