The HVAA girls soccer team had a great day in Warminster on Saturday. The beautiful weather set the mood for the game. The girls triumphed over Warminster, 5-0. The girls had an excellent passing game and were a defensive powerhouse today. Perry Rubin, Arlene Singh, and Madison Sahl played a defensive game that impressed everyone. Goalies, Emma Kupper and Jessica Shein kept the game scoreless. The team spread out the scoring today with Demmi Fox, Payton Lennon, Jessica Shein, Sofia O'Brien and Morgan Pennisi each getting a goal.
In other HVAA soccer news, the U10 girls team, with Coach Archie Filshill, won 1-0. The in-house program was hopping today. In the Intermediate Boys division, the LA Galaxy played the Philadelphia Union today and won 2-0. Joseph O'Brien and Brian Grant of the Galaxy both scored. The goalies, Nick and Brendon, did a great job keeping the game scoreless. Barcelona beat Kansas City and would have made Leo Messi proud. Barcelona won 8-1. Michael Pennisi had 2 goals and 1 assist. MicroSoccer had a great day today and all the soccer players appreciate the Lower Moreland HS girls soccer team coming out each week and helping out.
