The Lions ended their season with an 8-0 defeat to Pope John Paul II.

Playing in the district tournament playoffs, the Lower Moreland varsity baseball team lost 8-0 to Pope John Paul II at Latshaw McCarthy Complex in Norristown on Tuesday.

It was a close game and the Lions trailed 1-0 midway through the contest. It was a 7-run sixth inning, however, that blew the game wide open.

Lower Moreland was held to just three hits on the day, with Callan Palmer, Mario Incollingo and Jake Madnick each supplying base knocks.
