$7 Million Bridge Replacement Project To Continue On Skippack Pike

Lane closures will be in place as crews continue work to reconstruct the 90-year-old bridge.

SKIPPACK TOWNSHIP, PA — Lanes will be shut down on Skippack Pike as work continues on a $7 million project to replace the bridge over Skippack Creek.

Lane closures will be in place on Wednesday, March 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

They will impact Skippack Pike from Old Forty Foot Road to Kerr Road.

The 90-year-old two span bridge is being replaced with a longer and wider structure as part of an ongoing, $7 million project. The new bridge will be 104 feet long and 52 feet wide and will feature two 12-foot travel lanes and 8-foot shoulders.
