LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A Montgomery County man used social media platforms to have sexually explicit chats with children as young as 13, federal authorities announced.
Anthony Greene, 37, of Trooper, has been charged with manufacturing child pornography, attempt to entice a minor, and related counts.
Greene, also known as “Maino” or “Von,” found children between the ages of 13 and 17 from March to June of 2025, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
In some cases, Greene persuaded victims to produce sexually explicit images or videos of themselves, officials said. In other cases, he had them send him images of other minors.
The FBI's Philadelphia Child Exploitation and Human Trafficking Task Force said they worked with local authorities to track the images and chats back to Greene.
Greene also illegally possessed a firearm, officials said. He is a convicted felon, with 2007 convictions for simple assault and drug possession.
He is scheduled to be arraigned in federal court on Friday, April 24 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Scott W. Reid.
He faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.
