Audubon Sexual Assault Was After Pre-Arranged Meeting, Not Random: Cops
Breaking: Police said that the sexual assault in Audubon on Sunday night occurred after a pre-arranged meeting and was not random.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Police said Friday that the sexual assault earlier this week in Audubon occurred after a pre-arranged meeting and was not a random act, an investigation has revealed.
The incident in question took place on Sunday night at around 11:30 p.m. on Lantern Lane in Audubon, police said.
It was initially reported by the Lower Providence Police Department that a woman was out for a walk on the 2700 block of Lantern Lane when a vehicle came up alongside her and the driver grabbed her and forced her inside. Police said the suspect then drove her to a secluded place on General Armistead Avenue in West Norriton Township, where he proceeded to sexually assault her.

On Friday, police said that efforts to identify the suspect have been hampered by individuals being interviewed who have refused to fully cooperate.
The investigation is ongoing and police are using video surveillance, electronic data evidence, and trace evidence to track the suspect.

The Lower Providence Police Department is joined by the Pennsylvania State Police and Montgomery County Detective Bureau in the investigation.
