Lower Providence OKs Assisted Living Facility Conditional Use

The proposed 172-resident facility got the go-ahead to move forward with development.

A proposed senior assisted living facility in Lower Providence is moving forward with development, as the township approved the facilities conditional use application recently.

The proposed 172-resident facility will be located at the former Collegeville Inn site on Ridge Pike, the township said.

The project, by Providence Place of Collegeville Associates, calls for the preservation of the existing building and construction of a new addition facing Pechins Mill Road, according to the township.
