We asked Patch Readers what they thought the biggest safety issues were in their town. Here’s a list of the most pressing problems, from break-ins to traffic jams:

  • "Featherbed road at Pinetown - People fly by going down Pinetown Road"
  • "The curves on Park Avenue and trucks having access to use it. Too many accidents on that stretch"
  • "The biggest safety concern is keeping our schools safe and also free of drugs. Then, I would say the intersection of Eagleville Rd/Park Ave/Crawford Rd."
  • "North Grange and Ridge"
  • "Distracted driving and speeding"
  • "Speeding through the neighborhoods especially those that are used as cut through's"
  • "I agree with keeping the schools drug free! Also, I live on Egypt. The speed limit is too fast as many people drive 5-10 mph over anyhow. Texting and driving is an huge issue everywhere."
  • "I say our school children interacting with drugs"
  • "North Grange and Germantown. There have been countless accidents here."
  • "Speeding!! (Especially on South Grange and up Ridge Pike- too many accidents!) Also on Level Road, Eagleville Road, Woodland Avenue, Summit Avenue, a school zone is put in place to keep our kids safe. The speeding through them has got to stop!"
