New Dunkin Donuts Under Construction On Ridge Pike

LOWER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — The latest development on Ridge Pike is now underway.

Dunkin Donuts is under construction on 2600 Ridge Pike.

That's at the intersection with Trooper Road, where another new development is already well underway. It's where the German discount supermarket chain, Lidl, is setting up shop.

Lidl is replacing the corner that held the old Norristown Ford. A Wawa sits at a second corner, and Citadel Bank at the third.

Dunkin Donuts will take up the fourth spot.

It's long been rumored that Dunkin would fill this vacancy, though construction has only just begun. The chain has nearby locations a mile away on 1941 W. Main Street in Norristown, and a mile away on 2601 Egypt Road.
