UPPER MERION, PA — Township police are asking for help in locating an individual they say impersonated a police officer earlier this month.
The Upper Merion Police Department said while investigating a separate incident, they discovered evidence indicating that someone impersonated a police officer back on April 21 a little before midnight when the individual attempted to pull over a vehicle on South Henderson and South Gulph Roads.
During an unrelated review of traffic cameras, police discovered video that showed a white Jeep Grand Cherokee being followed by a dark colored pickup truck that was displaying a flashing red and blue police light on the dash of the vehicle.
