17-Year-Old Missing In Lower Southampton Township

Lower Southampton Police said Jayleen DeJesus Wednesday coordinated running away with her younger sister, who returned home the next day.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Lower Southampton Township Police Department seeks the whereabouts of two sisters who ran away from home.

Police said that on Wednesday, 17-year-old Jayleen DeJesus and her younger sister coordinated to run away from home.

They made an agreement to return the following day after school, police said.

Jayleen’s younger sister has returned home, but Jayleen has failed to return as of Friday.

Jayleen has made contact with her family members and indicated that she is OK, but has failed to return home or contact anyone with her location, police said.

Her family would like for her to return home safely.

Jayleen is entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).
