2014 Bucks County Poet Laureate Named
Sandra Becker of Doylestown, the new poet laureate, will do a reading during a reception on Nov. 16 at the college's Newtown Campus.
Doylestown resident Sandra Becker has been named the 2014 Bucks County Poet Laureate.
Becker will do a reading during a reception on Nov. 16 at the college’s Newtown Campus.
Additionally, the following runners up will do readings that day: Elizabeth Austin of Newtown, Camille Norvaisas of Feasterville and Kathryn Ionata of Doylestown. Plus, the 2013 poet laureate Alexa Gutter of Yardley will read.

The event begins at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16 at the Orangery at Bucks County Community College, 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown.
The event is free and open to the public.
