3 Crashes On Street Road In Less Than A Week

FEASTERVILLE, PA —Street Road crashes are becoming quite common in Lower Southampton Township.

In less than a week, the Feasterville Fire Company has handled three crashes on the state highway, all taking place in the evening.

Over the weekend, the Feasterville Fire Company responded to a two-vehicle accident spanning Street Road, off Hoover Road.

Late last week, the fire company was at the intersection of Street Road and the Acme Shopping Center for a vehicle vs pedestrian accident.

Five days ago, the fire company dealt with a four-vehicle crash with injuries at Street Road and Buck Road.

The fire company did not say how many people were injured in the crashes.

Residents commented on the crash posts that motorists need to slow down, that "Street Road is not Interstate 95."

Others said that maybe more traffic lights need to be added to reduce speeds.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation regulates the highway.
