Area Employers Plan More Than 1,100 Layoffs This Fall

Six employers in Philadelphia and the surrounding area will cut more than 1,100 jobs this fall, according to information filed with the state Department of Labor.

The following area employers have recently filed WARN notices, which are required by law in the event of mass layoffs:
