Arrest Made In 'Merry Millionaire' Lottery Ticket Theft
Police in Lower Southampton say the woman grabbed a book of scratch-off lottery tickets from the counter of a local store.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — An area woman didn't become a millionaire, and is presumably not very merry, after being arrested on charges she stole some seasonal lottery tickets from a Lower Southampton store.
Amy Weber, 36, of Langhorne, has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property after police say she stole a book of Merry Millionaire scratch-off tickets from County Farms, on Bristol Road in the township.
Police on Friday said surveillance footage and numerous witnesses helped solve the case. The theft happened at about 12:52 p.m. on Wednesday, N0v. 21. That's when a woman grabbed the book of tickets from a counter and left the store.

Police said Pennsylvania lottery officials were notified and they voided the game tickets, making them worthless.
