Arrest Made In Theft Of Truck From Local Wawa Parking Lot

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A man has been charged with stealing a truck from a Trevose Wawa in January. Michael Hutcheon, 39, of Bristol was arrested Friday, May 12 in connection with the Jan. 14 theft.

According to police, Hutcheon stole a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado from the parking lot of the Wawa at Rosewood Avenue and Brownsville Road in Trevose. Hutcheon was identified with the assistance of Wawa’s video surveillance footage and forensic DNA analysis recovered from the vehicle.

Hutcheon is currently incarcerated in the Bucks County Correctional Facility on unrelated charges. A Warrant has been issued and will be served upon him there, police said.
