Baby Sleeping In Car Seat Found Unresponsive, Later Dies: Reports

A baby girl in Bristol Township was found unresponsive in her car seat Friday and was later pronounced dead at Lower Bucks Hospital.

The girl was being cared for by a babysitter in the Croydon section of the township, according to reports. She was strapped in her car seat while sleeping on an upper floor of the house when the babysitter checked on her at 3:15 p.m. and found her unresponsive, the Courier Times reported. The babysitter called 911.

CPR was done and an automated external defibrillator was used by Bristol Township Police but the baby was pronounced dead at the hospital, the report said.
