Bear In Feasterville Not A Threat, Authorities Say
BREAKING: Officials have provided an update on the bear that was first seen in the trees near Street and Hoover roads Sunday.

FEASTERVILLE, PA — Officials have provided an update on the bear that was first seen in the trees near Street and Hoover roads Sunday. The Feasterville Fire Company reported Monday that the bear has since moved to a "very high tree location on the property of Somerton Springs."
That's a "much safer hangout," the fire company reported via Facebook. Officials from Game and Wildlife continue to monitor the situation closely, but the bear is not believed to be a threat, authorities say.
Residents are asked not to interfere with the bear or attempts to relocate him.

"If you see it, remain in your house or vehicle until it moves away. Keep trash cans secure or in your garage. Do not chase it, we do not want him to run scared into the street," the fire company said.
