Bike-Riding Bandits Steal Beef Jerky, Booze

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Lower Southampton are looking for a group of thieves who rode their bikes into the foyer of the Acme in Feasterville, then used a motorized scooter to steal alcohol and beef jerky.

The incident happened Tuesday night, according to Lower Southampton Township Police. According to police, the men abandoned their bicycles in the Acme's foyer, then grabbed a scooter to help in their crime.

According to surveillance video, the men concealed alcoholic beverages and other items inside backpacks and in their pants before making their way out of the store's front door. When they were confronted by employees, the men jumped onto their bicycles and rode away, police said.
