Bucks County Coast Guard Officer Sentenced To Jail For Stealing From Unit: Report
The money he stole was meant to improve the Coast Guard's capabilities along the Delaware River.

A commander in the Tullytown unit of the U.S. Coast Guard has been sentenced to jail for stealing $4,000 from the unit, according to a Bucks County Courier Times report.
Douglas Miller, 35, who was a division vice commander with Auxiliary Division 6 in Tullytown, was sentenced to four to 23 months in jail after pleading guilty, the report states.
The funds he stole were allegedly meant to purchase communications equipment that would improve the Coast Guard’s radio capabilities along the Delaware River, according to the report.

When the money was noted as missing Miller was suspected as responsible because he was the only one with access, the report states.
