Bucks County Man Among Those Arrested For Child Porn, Kane Says

A Bucks County man is among three across Pennsylvania that were arrested on child porn charges, Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced on Wednesday.

Joseph Lind III, 68, of 7 Oakdale Boulevard in Lower Makefield, was first discovered by agents who found suspected child pornography via a file sharing service, Kane’s office said.

The Office of Attorney General’s Child Predator Section and the Lower Makefield Township Police Department served a search warrant at Lind’s home and discovered suspected images of child pornography on his computer, the Attorney General said.

Lind is charged with three counts of distribution of child pornography, 50 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility, per Kane.

Chester County man Kenneth Wood, 47, of Coatesville was also arrested on similar charges, along with Beaver County’s Keith Shillingburg, 38.

Suspected child predators can be reported to the Office of Attorney General by calling the Child Predator Hotline at 1-800-385-1044. Individuals who suspect an online predator or child sexual abuse can also send an anonymous tip to the office by texting PAKIDS + YOUR TIP to 847411.
