Credit Card Thefts Caused By False Planet Fitness Passes: Police

The Lower Southampton Police Department seeks help in identifying the two suspects. The credit cards were used at a Walmart in Bensalem.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA —Police are seeking two men who created false fitness day passes and then stole credit cards from gym lockers.

The Lower Southampton Township Police Department said the suspects created false identities to obtain a day pass at Planet Fitness. And then minutes later, the thieves broke into lockers and lifted fitness members' credit cards.

The cards were used at a Walmart in Bensalem to purchase gift cards, police said.

The incident happened at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23, police said.

Police need the public's help in identifying the two suspects. Anyone with information or who recognizes the suspects should call Lower Southampton Township Police at 215.357.1235 or submit a tip.
