'Battle of the Crooked Billet' Screening

Please join us for a special screening of the locally produced documentary "The Battle of the Crooked Billet." On May 1, 1778, British soldiers attacked a group of Pennsylvania militia headquartered at the village of The Billet (present-day Hatboro); the militia were eventually forced to retreat into the woods around Warminster. This skirmish was the only battle of the American Revolutionary War to take place in Bucks County, and "The Battle of the Crooked Billet" uses a combination of reenactments and interviews with area historians to bring this important moment in our local history to life. Winner of two 2010 Telly Awards.
