LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police say a woman in Lower Southampton tried to help herself to a little extra holiday cheer, stealing a book of Merry Millionaire lottery tickets from a local store.
At about 12:52 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 21, the woman grabbed the book of tickets from a counter at County Farms, on Bristol Road in the Oakford section of the township, Lower Southampton Police said.
Bad news for her ... lottery officials were notified and they voided the game tickets, making them worthless, according to police.
