Pedestrian Critically Injured In Trevose Hit-And-Run, Sources Say
Lower Southampton Police are seeking the driver of a truck that struck two pedestrians on Street Road Monday night then fled the scene.

TREVOSE, PA — A hit-and-run driver who police say struck two pedestrians, leaving one in critical condition, in Trevose on Monday night is being sought, according to information from authorities and media reports.
According to information from Lower Southampton Police, around 8:15 p.m., two pedestrians were struck by a car on Street Road in the area of Philmont Avenue. The vehicle, described as a two-tone maroon and tan or gray pickup truck, hit the pedestrians, then the driver briefly stopped at the scene. The driver, about 30 years old, then got back into his truck and fled eastbound on Street Road into Bensalem, police said.
Action News reports the two victims were a female and male teen. An 18-year-old female victim is in critical condition, that report said.

The car is believed to be a circa 1997 two-door Ford truck, with ladder rack with an attached ladder. The vehicle should be missing its passenger side mirror and have a broken passenger side headlight, police said.
The driver has been described as a black male approximately 30 years old, 6’ 1” or 6’ 2” with a thin build. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, black shirt and dark jeans, according to police.

Officers from Bensalem also responded to the scene.
