Increased Drunk-Driving Patrols Planned In Lower Southampton
This weekend will be prime holiday-party time. If you plan to have a few to celebrate the season, leave the driving to someone else.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police in Lower Southampton will be out in force later this week and heading into the weekend, on the lookout for impaired drivers.
The Lower Southampton Police Department announced that it will be conducting increased drunk/drugged-driving enforcement on Thursday, Dec. 13, and Friday, Dec. 14, between the hours of 11 p.m.-3 a.m.
"Motorist are urged to make good decisions when deciding whether to drive a vehicle after consuming drugs and/or alcohol," the department said in a news release. "Remember that a poor decision may have life changing consequences. Be responsible and think before you drink and drive."
