K-9 Jolie Finds Weapon During Search In Lower Southampton Township
The Warrington Township police dog, along with Cpl. John Blanchard, searched a suspect in a Lower Southampton robbery Sunday.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA —The Warrington Police Department is recognizing K-9 Jolie for assisting a neighboring police department.
K-9 Jolie and Cpl. John Blanchard got the call Sunday to assist the Lower Southampton Police Department after a reported robbery.
While conducting a track, the suspect was taken into custody by patrol officers, police said.

Cpl. Blanchard and Jolie were then tasked to conduct an “article” search to locate the weapon used in the robbery.
Jolie was able to locate the weapon used, police said.

"Good job Jolie," the police department stated.
Lower Southampton Township police did not return a request seeking more information about the robbery.
Blanchard, a 24-year Warrington police veteran, is one of the department's first K9 handlers, partnering with explosives detection dog Jolie.
Both are certified by the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA), and the ATF and are currently part of the Bucks County Explosives Detection Task Force.
When K-9 Jolie isn't working, she likes to play ball and exercise, the department said.
