Speakers: Joseph M. Casey, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority and Bill Rickett, TMA Bucks
Joseph M. Casey, CPA, General Manager, Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, has been with SEPTA for 29 years and is committed to focusing the organization on delivering quality service to customers and the region through a comprehensive program of route enhancements, new vehicles and facilities, and initiatives focusing on environmental responsibility. Mr. Casey will address recent improvements, the Governor’s transportation funding commission, how SEPTA can help the Business Community support the increase of mass transit available and schedules in the area.
Bill Rickett, Executive Director, TMA Bucks, and Chamber Board Member, will give a brief overview of TMA’s role and what’s happening in Lower Bucks County.

Business Development Workshop – A Business Case for Successful Energy Projects

Program: A Business Case for Successful Energy Projects
To get Bucks County businesses to go green and pursue energy efficiency projects, David E. Welsh, Director, Smart Energy Initiative Advisory Services, will discuss the development of an energy project, the feasibility analysis, technical specifications, government rebates and incentives, and the PA SREC (Solar Renewable Energy Credits) program. The Smart Energy Initiative offers comprehensive energy strategy consulting services to help businesses reduce energy consumption, costs, and environmental impact.
Joining Mr. Welsh will be Chuck Evans, Managing Director, South Eastern Economic Development Company of PA (SEEDCOPA). Mr. Evans will present financing options, including SBA financing and the new EnergyWorks loan program available to businesses. SEEDCO PA is a 25-year-old Certified Development Company offering the SBA 504 Loan and support for government guaranteed lending programs.
