Man Assaulted Police Officers, EMS Personnel After Medical Call In Oakford: Authorities

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A 50-year-old man assaulted Lower Southampton police officers and EMS personnel during a medical emergency on Wood Road in Oakford, local police say.
According to authorities, Robert Barrett was arrested May 7 and has been charged with six counts of aggravated assault, three counts of recklessly endangering another person and related charges, court records show.
Barrett's bail was set at 10 percent of $75,000. He was remanded to the Bucks County Correctional Facility, where he remains after being unable to post bail.
