Man Caught, Charged After 2+ Years In Lower Southampton Theft: PD

Police issued a warrant for Ryan Schussler in April 2021 for stealing from a vehicle.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — Police said they have charged a man after issuing a warrant for his arrest nearly three years ago, in connection with a theft in Feasterville.

Lower Southampton police said they used DNA evidence to identify 40-year-old Ryan C. Schussler, of Philadelphia, as the perpetrator in a 2020 theft from a vehicle.

Officers issued a warrant for Schussler, who was formerly a Lower Southampton resident, on April 19, 2021. Police said he had been on the run since the issuance of the warrant; Schussler was brought into the Bucks County Correctional Facility for an unrelated matter, and police were able to charge him.

Schussler had a preliminary hearing on Jan. 17, 2024 where the charges were held for the Court of Common Pleas in Doylestown, and he was remanded back to the county jail, said police.
