Man Charged With Attacking Woman Arrested
In Lower Southampton, police say Nicholas William Cotton, 21, "viciously assaulted" a woman, leaving her bleeding from the head, and face.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A man accused of robbing and violently assaulting a woman in Lower Southampton is now behind bars.
Nicholas William Cotton, 21, of Feasterville, surrendered to local police on Friday, the Lower Southampton Police Department announced. He was arraigned and sent to Bucks County Correctional Facility after failing to post a $100,000 bail.
According to court records, Cotton is charged with simple assault, robbery and harassment. Lower Southampton Police say he "viciously assaulted" a woman, leaving her bleeding from the head, face and neck, in an incident last week on Dolton Road.
