Man Charged With Groping Teen At Lower Southampton Grocery Store

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged with inappropriately touching teens in two separate incidents at local stores, including one in Lower Southampton Township, police said.

Alexander Macht of Rydal has been charged with two counts of indecent assault and harassment after touching two 13-year-olds, police said.

According to police, the investigation began in December after Lower Southampton Township police received a report that a man inappropriately touched a 13-year-old girl at the Acme in Feasterville.

Police in Bensalem Township received a similar complaint that occurred at the local Target in February. In that incident, a 13-year-old girl was shopping with her mother when she was inappropriately touched by a man as he walked by her in the store.

A preliminary hearing was held Wednesday. Macht will be arraigned on July 6, court documents show.
