Man Parked In Fire Zone, Stole From Staples, Fled To Philly: Lower Southampton Police

An alleged shoplifted who police say parked in a fire zone and drove off with stolen items from Staples is wanted local authorities.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — An alleged shoplifted who parked in a fire zone and drove off with stolen goods from a Lower Southampton Staples store is wanted by local police, according to information from authorities.

An arrest warrant has been issued for John Graffigna of Philadelphia. According to Lower Southampton Police, the 46-year-old man was traveling in a car parked in a fire zone in front of an East Street Road Staples the afternoon of Aug. 31. The officer approached the car and saw a white man, later identified as Graffigna, exit the Staples with merchandise in his hands.

Graffigna got into the passenger seat of the car and the female driver left. The officer attempted to stop the car, but it fled into Philadelphia. An investigation revealed Graffigna did not pay for the merchandise, police said. Authorities are still trying to identify the female getaway driver.
