Man Stole $17K From Lower Southampton Employer: Police
A man has been arrested after authorities say he stole more than $17,000 from his employer, a Lower Southampton-based business.
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A man has been arrested after authorities say he stole more than $17,000 from the Lower Southampton business where he was employed. According to the Lower Southampton Police Department, a Trevose business reported in March that $17,150 was missing.
After an investigation, police on Friday arrested Thomas Arbaugh, 38, of Levittown. Arbaugh was the office manager and payroll clerk at the business. He was arrested for forgery, theft by deception and tampering with records or identification.
Arbaugh turned himself in and bail was set at $75,000.00 unsecured. He has since posted bail.
